Prof Forrest is a native of TN, by way of a handful of military installations and 9 states in which she has resided. Her practical field experience ranges from corrections officer, armed transit authority officer for a metro public transportation service, armed security officer at a federally regulated facility, and intelligence/crime analyst at a police department. Her most enjoyed topics to teach are criminology, women and crime, and victimology, along with family and intimate partner violence.
She lives with her husband, father-in-law, and two four-legged little girls named Lilly and Cindy Lou in Campbellsville. She is mom to two girls, Kacy Laine, who is grown and on her own and Ali, who is almost ready to graduate high school. Prof Forrest is also grandmother to Annie, who is a very special girl in elementary school.
